The Art of Integration with Patricia Walden

at the Enfield Shaker Museum, Enfield, NH

August 22-26, 2018

As we gather for the Shaker retreat this year, we will be celebrating the 100th year since Guruji’s birth. Through his years of devoted practice, Guruji understood the art of integration and how the path of yoga can lead us to ultimate freedom. He says in “Light on Yoga”: "The final integration of the sheaths of being at last brings access to the knowledge of the soul to join that of the heart and body.” How can we learn from his teachings of both asana and the yoga sutras to practice and teach in a more integrative way? Come join Patricia Walden, one of Guruji’s senior students, as we explore the art of integration. Each day will include 3 hours of asana in the morning and 2 hours of pranayama and philosophy discussion in the afternoon. Residential and commuter options are available.
